This week we will be hearing from Dave Bertelsen from Teen Challenge. He will be presenting the Walk for Recovery 5k Teen Challenge Fundraiser as well as giving us an update on the effect of COVID on drug addiction and suicide rates.
Dave was raised in Senegal West Africa by Missionary parents. Later in life, he served his nation as an Army Ranger. As is all too common, he spent much of his life struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. This led him to become a student of Teen Challenge in 2017. In 2018 he attended the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute. This led him to a full-time commitment with Teen Challenge Riverside.
