Did you know that one of our Charter members in 1920 was the Riverside City Librarian, Joseph Daniels? He was also responsible for founding the Library School where he trained future librarians. This was the beginning of a long tradition of our club’s support for the libraries, literacy, and education.
As the oldest Rotary Club in Riverside, we will continue to share notable stories of our club’s impact on our community. Bob Brown, our club historian, is making monthly presentations in celebration of our 100th anniversary. If you’d like to attend our next meeting as a guest, please contact Becky Gosling (message our page here on Facebook). We meet online at noon every Wednesday (in-person meetings will resume at the same time at Benedict Castle after COVID restrictions).
